S01 project preparation

Long-panel stacking and synchronized turnover

Above 12 m, the required face after placement changes the configuration discussion. Prepare the panel and line evidence before confirming either route.

Over 12 m: decide whether the panel must turn

The normal 20261007 single-unit range is 2,500–12,000 mm for stacking only or turnover plus stacking. A panel above that range needs a project review. The decisive first question is the required face after placement.

  1. Face stays uppermostDiscuss single-unit stacking only. The project must confirm the maximum length and actual panel combinations.
  2. Face must changeDiscuss two synchronized units for turnover and stacking. Dual-unit ratings are not obtained by doubling the single-unit ratings.
  3. Face sequence undecidedSend incoming and proposed finished-stack sketches before selecting either route. Describe roof ribs, separators and first/last-panel requirements.

The older S01 presentation contains 12/13 m references. Those references do not approve the current single-unit turnover of a 13 m panel. Use the current model and three selection routes in the enquiry.

Length is only one part of the handling problem

For the same length, a flat wall panel and a profiled roof panel may present different faces, stiffness and support requirements. List the width, thickness, core, cross-section, measured weight and finish together for each actual product. A column of separate maximum dimensions does not identify a real panel.

Mark permitted support or contact areas, joints, film and handling restrictions supplied by the panel maker. Ask the supplier to review the intended lifting, turning and placement sequence against that panel. This page specifies neither a gripping method nor vacuum tooling for S01.

What does synchronization need to address?

Two units must coordinate the required handling sequence. Engineering review must establish their positions, support arrangement, control coordination and interface with receiving and stack-removal equipment. The workshop video demonstrates movement; it supplies no approved spacing, control logic or installation clearances.

See the synchronized handling sequence

Workshop footage illustrates coordinated handling. The panel length, load, cycle conditions and acceptance result are not established by this clip. Watch on YouTube.

For comparison, the S01 product video gallery also shows single-unit turnover and receiving-to-placement. Use videos to label the movement you want, then supply your own authorised line records.

Put the open engineering questions in one record

Long-panel review: requested inputs and confirmation
RecordWhat the buyer suppliesWhat the proposal must confirm
Panel familyShortest and longest lengths with width, thickness, core, profile and measured mass for each variant.Permitted combinations and project-specific maximum length; no inferred payload.
Required motionIncoming upper face, requested placement face and finished-stack sequence.Stacking-only single-unit review or synchronized dual-unit turnover scope.
Support and spacingPanel-maker handling restrictions, current conveyors, transfer heights and layout revision.Contact/support arrangement, unit spacing and a complete project layout.
Timing and dischargeActual arrivals, requested output, panels per stack and observed clearing time.Agreed cycle boundary, receiving during stack removal, and supplied discharge equipment.
Height and controlsTarget stack height, stack supports, line-builder contact and controller records.Dual-unit height, controls, interfaces and commissioning responsibilities separately from the single unit.

The recorded 0–2,500 mm stack height belongs to the documented 20261007 single unit. It is not a confirmed dual-unit height. Dual-unit dimensions, drive/control configuration, capacity, cycle and price remain project-specific.

Agree where stacking ends

Draw the handover from incoming conveyor to finished-stack support and onwards to removal or packing. Identify each item as existing, supplied by CSM, supplied by another party or awaiting confirmation. Wrapping, strapping and completed-bundle removal are separate scope lines.

Ask whether the next panel can arrive while a full stack is being removed. A video without a complete stack change cannot answer that question. Use the S01 existing-line checklist and cost and scope guide for these interfaces.

Long-panel questions

Can one unit stack any length above 12 m?

No unlimited range is stated. Stacking-only single-unit arrangements above 12 m require review of the actual panel, support and line. Ask for the confirmed maximum and permitted combinations in writing.

Does a 15 m panel automatically require two units?

Length alone does not settle the configuration. Above 12 m with turnover, discuss synchronized dual units. Without turnover, request a single-unit stacking-only project review. Width, weight, stiffness, profile and site interfaces also require confirmation.

Can I copy the S04 450 kg load or 20–30 second cycle?

No. S04 is a separate gantry vacuum machine. Its ratings do not establish S01 single-unit or synchronized dual-unit capability.

Does the video establish the final arrangement?

It illustrates a movement sequence. The project proposal must define the panel combinations, unit spacing, support, controls, performance evidence and site layout.
