Catalog ID S02 · Model MCZ-Z-400-10

Automatic C/Z Purlin Turnover-Arm Stacker

Model MCZ-Z-400-10 receives formed C, U and Z profiles, positions and grips each part, and builds layered stacks with turnover as required by the stacking sequence.

Maximum lifting weight per individual profile: 300 kg. Do not select this model if any individual profile weighs more than 300 kg. This is not a finished-bundle load rating.

Model MCZ-Z-400-10

Specifications for C, U and Z profile stacking.

The export specification describes positioning, gripping and layered stacking, with turnover used in the layer sequence. Lifting and traverse use gear-and-rack drives, linear rails and guide blocks. A transmission shaft connects the two arms to maintain positional consistency.

Use the stated ranges with the actual section drawing and required bundle pattern. The source term “waist height” must be matched to the drawing rather than assumed to describe another section dimension.

Handling scope

From profile positioning to layered stacks.

The sequence below summarises the supplied specification. The drawings remain conceptual references, not operating or setup instructions.

  1. 01

    Receive and position

The formed profile enters the stacker conveyor, reaches its preset position and is precisely located before gripping.

  2. 02

Grip and place the first layer

The gripper places the positioned profile into the stack. This repeats until the first layer is complete.

  3. 03

Turn and build the next layer

For the following layer, the positioned profile is turned, gripped and placed. The sequence repeats until stacking is complete.

  4. 04

    Prepare bundle handover

Set stack columns and layers within the designed range. Confirm the finished-stack removal and downstream handover arrangement for the project.

Technical illustrations only: shapes, counts and arrows are explanatory. They do not approve a bundle recipe, contact geometry, arm path, cycle time, capacity or continuous removal.

Application fit

Where this stacker fits.

Model MCZ-Z-400-10 is described for C, U and Z profiles after forming. Review the section drawing, length range, thickness, incoming orientation and required stack pattern together with the forming-line discharge and finished-stack handover.

Good project fit

  • High-volume C- and Z-purlin roll-forming lines
  • Lines requiring programmed counting, turning and aligned bundle formation
  • Retrofit projects with a compatible run-out conveyor and control handshake
  • Applications where profile coating and flange geometry require controlled handling

Before your enquiry

C/Z stacker selection questions.

What is the maximum lifting weight per individual profile?

300 kg. Do not select MCZ-Z-400-10 if any individual profile weighs more than 300 kg. At or below this limit, section geometry, tooling and bundle arrangement still require review. This is not a finished-bundle load rating.

What profile sizes does MCZ-Z-400-10 cover?

The supplied specification states C, U and Z profiles with lengths of 3,000–13,000 mm, widths of 100–400 mm, thicknesses of 1.5–5 mm and a “waist height” of 40–125 mm. Confirm dimension labels and the complete section geometry on your drawing.

How does the turnover sequence work?

The profile is conveyed into position and precisely located. Gripping and placement complete the first layer. The following-layer sequence includes turnover before gripping and placement, repeating until the stack is complete.

Can stack columns and layers be adjusted?

Yes, the supplied document states that stack columns and layers can be adjusted within the designed range. It does not give a universal maximum stack height, bundle weight or recipe for every section.

What power and compressed-air facilities are listed?

The document lists 7.5 kW installed power and a required 3 kW air compressor with a 100 L tank. It does not state air pressure or consumption; agree those utility details for the project.

What delivery time is stated?

The supplied document states delivery 20 days after receipt of the deposit, with separate notification for events such as natural disasters, unexpected power outages or authority-ordered shutdowns. Confirm the current delivery schedule in the quotation and contract.

What production rate can I expect?

The supplied document does not give a cycle-time or shift-output guarantee. Send the actual arrival intervals, profile lengths and full-stack removal arrangement for configuration review.

Is this a sandwich-panel vacuum stacker?

No. This product uses profile gripping and mechanical turnover. Vacuum-cup quantities, panel load ratings and sandwich-panel handling parameters are not its specifications.
