What should I prepare for a floor deck turnover stacker enquiry?
Provide the actual deck cross-section and drawing revision, sheet width and length range, material thickness, and labelled views showing how each sheet arrives and how it should sit in the finished stack. Include surface requirements, stack quantity and the proposed removal method.
Our catalogue’s floor deck turnover stacker handles profiled metal sheets with a mechanical turnover arrangement. It is a separate selection task from C/Z purlin stacking or sandwich panel handling. This guide prepares information, not operating instructions or structural deck design.
Read the presentation values as a review baseline
The product presentation lists 6–12 m sheet length and 575 / 600 mm width entries. It does not identify which width is overall width or effective cover width; supply both dimensions with the actual rib drawing. Approx. 25 s is a nominal cycle, not guaranteed production output. Confirm sheet length, arrival interval, turnover sequence and full-stack exchange conditions before agreeing a configuration. No maximum single-sheet lifting weight is confirmed in this guide.
Which deck geometry should I show?
Show rib height, pitch, edge details and any local features in your actual dimensioned drawing.
Upper blue line: overall edge-to-edge width. Lower dashed line: effective cover width as defined on your drawing.
| Input | What to supply | Why it belongs in the review |
|---|---|---|
| Profile identity | Drawing number, revision, units, a dimensioned rib cross-section and a full sheet view. | Connects the proposed handling scope to the actual product. |
| Width and edges | Label overall width and effective cover width separately where applicable; show edge details. | Avoids using two different width definitions as if they were the same. |
| Material and size range | Material, coating, gauge or thickness definition, length range and individual sheet weight if known. | Defines the proposed products; estimated weight is not a machine rating. |
| Surface and local features | Required exposed face, protective film if present, embossments or other relevant features, representative photos. | Provides information for contact-area and surface-condition review. |
Attach representative samples or identify how they will be supplied. A catalogue width does not by itself establish contact suitability for every rib shape or surface finish. Do not assume that a purlin drawing describes a deck sheet.
How do I communicate the required turnover and stacking orientation?
Name both faces and mark the incoming face on an end-view photo or drawing. Add line travel in a separate plan view.
This example puts the same Face A underneath. State your actual required finished face and any sheet-by-sheet orientation sequence.
Use a labelled cross-section for both the incoming sheet and the finished stack. Name the faces consistently, add the line travel direction, and show whether every sheet follows the same arrangement or whether the sequence changes between layers.
If the sheet has a preferred exposed face or asymmetric edge, mark it explicitly. A phrase such as “flip the panel” can leave the required output unclear. Describe the outcome you need; the supplier should confirm the proposed movement and handling configuration rather than deriving it from a generic sketch.
Describe the mechanical handling scope, not a vacuum pickup recipe
Provide the real run-out and deck section. Ask the supplier to confirm support/contact areas and the receiving arrangement.
The catalogue describes mechanical turnover. Request a configuration-specific arrangement; this sketch does not define an arm path, settings or timing.
Keep the floor deck turnover stacker product specifications separate from the requested handling arrangement. Refer to the input sheet for unresolved project information.
How should surface protection and stack requirements be recorded?
Identify surfaces where contact or marking matters and describe their condition as supplied, including film or coating. Provide a reference sample or photographs and state any project-specific surface requirements for review. Do not assume “automatic” means every finish will remain unmarked.
Specify the intended sheets per stack, orientation sequence, separators if requested, alignment requirement and stack destination. Ask which handling or packaging tasks are included. Any handling limits or verification criteria must be agreed for the actual sheet and configuration; this page supplies none.
Which line and removal conditions affect the enquiry?
Record sheet count, finished-face sequence, alignment reference, separators if requested and the stack destination.
1: receiving/stacking scope. 2: agreed removal scope. Name who supplies the equipment, interface and changeover arrangements.
Provide discharge height and direction, existing run-out arrangement, observed sheet arrival intervals for the intended lengths, and the proposed full-stack removal method. Identify who supplies the receiving conveyor, removal equipment and controls interface. Mark unconfirmed site dimensions as preliminary.
The product presentation lists a nominal cycle figure without complete trial conditions. Do not convert it into guaranteed shift output. Bundle removal, incoming conditions and the agreed job range need their own review. A machine outline is not a complete installation footprint or safe-clearance drawing.
Use the shared stacking guide for the overall project boundary and the retrofit checklist for existing-line integration questions.

One reference record per deck and stacking arrangement
| Record | Reference to supply | Information status |
|---|---|---|
| Deck identity | Drawing number, revision, units, rib profile, edge details, overall width and effective cover width. | Drawing-based / measured / preliminary / unknown. |
| Material and sheet | Coating, thickness definition, length range and individual sheet weight if known. | Identify estimates; do not treat sheet weight as a machine rating. |
| Faces and surfaces | Incoming end view, requested finished face, orientation sequence and contact-sensitive surfaces. | Observed input / requested outcome; supplier confirmation pending. |
| Mechanical handling | Actual receiving arrangement and requested turnover outcome, sample or photo reference. | Contact/support geometry and configuration to be confirmed. |
| Stack and handover | Count, alignment, separators if requested, destination and removal equipment/interface owners. | Requested scope / included / excluded / unresolved. |
| Existing line | Discharge height/direction, run-out, arrival observations and removal/changeover constraints. | Keep measured observations separate from nominal catalogue timing. |
This is a blank preparation guide, not a completed test or approval record. Leave unknown values open and keep photos and sample identities tied to drawing revisions.
Complete the common project section and the floor deck section. Attach incoming/finished-stack orientation sketches and refer to the exact drawing revisions.

Floor deck stacking questions
Is a floor deck turnover stacker the same as a sandwich panel vacuum stacker?
No. The current catalogue describes different equipment and handling arrangements. Choose against the actual workpiece and requested outcome.
Is the product’s nominal cycle a guarantee for my sheets?
No. Ask which configuration, sheet, incoming conditions and timing boundary apply before comparing output.
Does the catalogue width cover any deck rib shape?
No. Submit the complete profile and surface requirements for configuration review.
Can the input sheet be used as a structural or installation approval?
No. It is an enquiry aid, not a deck load/span design, installation drawing, inspection standard or safety approval.
