Full-Stack PE Wrapping Machine

Horizontal orbital wrapping for complete sandwich panel stacks—not panel lifting, flipping or stacking.

Protect the prepared stack with overlapping PE film before the next handling and dispatch stage. The supplied configuration pairs a wrapping unit with rubber-coated roller conveyors.

Documented configuration.

The manufacturer’s supplied packing-machine document describes this project configuration. These values are not blanket guarantees for all panel lengths, weights or packing patterns.

Required stack in the source brief

Width × height
1,200 × 1,200 mm
Length
16,000 mm
Stack weight
Approx. 2,800 kg

The requested stack weight is separate from the equipment’s effective load rating. Confirm dimensions including supports and any protective packing.

Package dimensions are not machine dimensions

The 1,200 × 1,200 mm package section is a documented configuration, not a verified maximum usable aperture. The 1,200 mm conveying surface height is a conveyor-level value; confirm its measurement datum, not bundle height. Overall machine width/height of 2,500 / 2,600 mm are external dimensions, not package clearance. A separate maximum usable package height is not confirmed in the supplied brief; request the actual passage drawing for the complete bundle, including supports and protection.

Source: “Hebei Pioneer Packing Machine” (河北先行者打包机), supplied by the owner. PE film terminology follows the owner’s product identification and video. Film grade, thickness, roll size, ring speed, end-face coverage and automatic film cutting are not specified and require confirmation. Rubber coating is described as surface protection; no absolute scratch-free guarantee is made here.

Set the wrapping around your stack.

  • PLC and variable-frequency control.
  • Selectable manual and automatic operating modes.
  • Adjustable rotating-ring speed.
  • Variable-speed adjustment of film overlap.
  • Adjustable film feed and discharge tension.
  • Automatic stop after the entered time.
  • Independent control cabinet for operation and maintenance access.

These are the functions stated in the source. “Automatic mode” does not establish automatic film loading, cutting, sealing or complete unmanned-line operation.

After stacking. Before dispatch.

The wrapper receives a prepared stack. A stacker’s individual-panel payload, vacuum handling range or cycle time must not be used as the wrapper’s specification.

  1. Prepare the stack: confirm panel quantity, alignment, supports, stack dimensions and total weight.
  2. Agree the conveyor handover: check transfer height, travel direction, roller arrangement, interlocks and ownership of the full-stack transfer.
  3. Wrap the stack: agree PE film, overlap, tension, speed and the stopping sequence for the selected configuration.
  4. Plan removal: confirm end protection, any separate strapping, finished-stack handling and dispatch responsibility.

Dust protection, compact packing and reduced transport damage are the intended purposes described by the supplier. No quantified savings, weatherproofing or transport-test results are supplied.

Receive the bundle directly from a gantry stacker.

Choose the separate Automatic Gantry Flipping & Stacking Machine to prepare panel bundles before PE wrapping. Its outer stacking conveyor discharges the completed bundle lengthwise into the wrapper, with both conveyors following the same travel direction.

Proposed linked line: mechanical panel turnover and gantry vacuum stacking feed completed bundles inline into the PE wrapper
AI-generated explanatory concept, not an installation photograph, dimensioned engineering layout or verified machinery geometry. The sequence and interface requirements are described below.

Option: gantry flipping and stacking

The upstream machine handles individual panels. Mechanical turnover forks set the required face orientation at the central waiting station; the level vacuum frame picks the panel and moves it transversely onto the outer stacking bed. The vacuum frame does not perform the flipping step. Gantry columns remain outside the working beds.

The published 450 kg lifting configuration concerns individual-panel handling, not full-bundle transfer. Confirm completed-bundle weight against the wrapper and each conveyor segment separately.

View the stacker's downstream line option →

One coordinated handling route

  1. Receive and position the incoming panel on the first roller bed.
  2. Use turnover forks for the agreed face sequence at the narrow central waiting station.
  3. Pick with the gantry vacuum frame and build the bundle on the outer stacking bed.
  4. Discharge the completed bundle inline into the PE wrapper.
  5. Wrap the full bundle, then remove it through the agreed downstream route.

Agree transfer height, roller support, arrival timing, bundle-complete and ready-to-receive signals, fault responses and removal access. The stacker is optional, not included automatically with the wrapper.

Project-specific proposal, not automatic compatibility: the linked-line example extends conveyor support for a 15.5 m panel requirement and uses a supplier-proposed 2.5 m stacking-height limit. The usable finished-bundle height must fit the final wrapper aperture. The example's requested 1250 mm bundle height is 50 mm above the published standard wrapper height of 1200 mm; confirm a revised aperture or a lower bundle target. This option does not change the documented wrapper specifications above or claim measured efficiency results.

Questions before configuration.

Is this a PE wrapper or a strapping machine?

This page describes horizontal orbital wrapping of a complete panel stack with PE film. It is not a steel- or plastic-strap binding machine. Separate strapping, when required, needs its own agreed scope.

Does it build or flip the panel stack?

No stacking or flipping function is stated in this source. The packaging machine receives a prepared stack from an upstream process.

Is the load 2,800 kg or 3,000 kg?

The source brief requests a stack weighing approximately 2,800 kg. Its equipment parameter table lists a 3,000 kg effective load. They are different values with different meanings, not interchangeable ratings.

Does 5–10 m/min mean finished packages per hour?

No. It is conveyor speed, not completed-stack output. Wrapping settings, stack length, spacing and transfer/removal time must be considered before specifying throughput.

Are film cutting, sealing and end-face coverage included?

Those details are not stated in the supplied document. Confirm them with the required film and finished-package standard before quotation.

What is the maximum package height?

The supplied brief lists a 1,200 mm package height for its documented configuration, but does not establish a separate verified maximum usable aperture. Neither the machine’s 2,600 mm external height nor the upstream stacker’s proposed 2.5 m stacking height is the wrapper’s working height. Obtain the usable passage drawing and written fit confirmation for the complete bundle. A requested 1,250 mm bundle height remains 50 mm above the documented package height.

Can it connect directly to a CSM stacker?

A connection is a project integration question, not an automatic compatibility claim. Confirm stack dimensions and weight, transfer height, conveyor layout, controls and responsibility at both sides of the handover.
